A Call to Care

A Call to Care is committed to providing underserved populations with the services they need to improve their health and well-being, as well as providing them with the tools and support to overcome economic and social challenges to become independent, self-sufficient and empowered individuals.

A signature program of the organization is Mission of Mercy Pittsburgh, a free, two-day dental clinic designed to provide those without access to regular, quality dental care with the services they need—and the dignity they deserve. From the single mother, to the man working two part-time jobs without benefits or homeless veteran—our doors are open to everyone.

All services are provided free of charge by local dental professionals, assisted by a dedicated team of clinical and non-clinical volunteers. The commitment to their care doesn’t end there—individuals who require follow up care are connected to local agencies for additional treatment, along with education on positive oral health habits.
